Orchestra – Music, Friendship, Community
For more than four decades, the Ensemble Instrumental de La Neuveville has brought together musicians united by a shared love of classical music, artistic discovery, and community spirit.
Founded in 1985, the orchestra has grown into a vibrant cultural ensemble connecting musicians from La Neuveville, Biel/Bienne, Neuchâtel, and the surrounding regions. Across generations and backgrounds, members come together through the universal language of music — building performances, and lasting friendships.
From Renaissance works to twentieth-century compositions, the orchestra explores a rich and varied repertoire shaped by curiosity, dedication, and collective expression. Rehearsals and concerts are guided by the belief that music is strongest when it is shared openly, generously, and collaboratively.
Over the years, the Ensemble Instrumental de La Neuveville has become an important part of regional cultural life through concerts, educational collaborations, and artistic partnerships. Whether performing alongside choirs, supporting young soloists, or celebrating important civic occasions, the orchestra remains deeply connected to its community and cultural heritage.
